I want an electric drag car.
As the title suggests, my Gary Fisher Cobia is now a single speed bike. 32:18 is the gearing of choice, and as fate would have it the chain length is spot on to not be have to run a chain tensioner. Brilliant!
Yet to take it out for a blast at Loftus, but that’ll have to happen in the next few days.
So far while on jury duty:
- I have received 215 pages of stuff (ish)
- Some of them are in a manila folder
- I have filled 3 exercise books with with notes ( 1 x 96 pager, 2 x 48 pagers)
- I noted there are 12 staples used throughout the above 215 pages of stuff
- I have 1 x A4 2 ring binder to hold it all together
- I have almost run out of ink in my black ball point pen
- I have not yet fallen asleep in court
- It turns out I’m okay at being diplomatic
…and I’m starting my 6th week on Monday.
The lucky bastard* Antz from over in Perth will be touring with the V Festival in a few days. Why not keep an eye on his movements through his blog, flickr stream and twitter?
*He totally deserves it and is a brilliant photographer. And I’m not jealous at all.

That is all.
We all know that savvy cat was created simply so I had an excuse to buy Train more toys, right?

I have so far managed an average of a post a day on savvycat (since its birth 10 days ago), which has left JarodandLiz in the background a little. (Oh, and one post a day for me is spectacularly successful, see the gaps between all my posts here…)
Although it does mean that when I’m not on jury duty, I’m either looking up cat stuff or sleeping.
Jury duty is entering it’s 5th week on Monday, so I guess it’s not long until it’s over and I have to do ‘real’ work for a change. I think I’m going to miss jury duty a lot.
So, how’s stuff with you?
As in, Train!

Liz has had some time on her hands and has started a new thingy called savvy cat. It’s about cat products and happenings in Australia / New Zealand.
You should check it out at: savvycat.net
And let all your cat lady friends know.
Keith Loutit’s ‘Little Sydney’ videos are quite entertaining. They are thousands of tilt-shift photos (or tilt-shift-esque – I can’t figure out if it’s done in post production or not) are stitched together to create short videos of some aspects of life in Sydney.
The latest is of the Mardi Gras:
