Every time I receive a newsletter from Nut and Bee, Jarod has to restrain me from buying all the cute things.
Annette’s Sketchbook Sweeties are absolutely adorable. I already have eight of them hanging on our walls (unfortunately, in out of the way places due to the whole ‘no putting holes in walls while renting thing’), and have been wanting to add to the collection for ages.

Although, until we get walls we can poke holes in, I’ve had to settle for a notepad and a bunch of stickers. Still, it’s a win in my books. :D :D
It’s a pretty simple concept. Hit the play button, watch the cats be stupid, piss yourself with laughter. Well, that’s what I just did anyway.

We’ve already blogged about Train’s super ability to catch hair ties when flicked in her direction, but only tonight did we try take decent photos of it.
See how much kitty anger she has inside?

And can you imagine what those claws do to flesh?
One year ago today, Jarod moved in with me. I thought it was sometime next week, until he went and got me a pretty necklace while I was otherwise distracted at the shops.

Somewhat unfair, seeing as we agreed not to get each other anything for Christmas, yet I still end up with pretty things. But I’m not about to complain…

From Smudge the Dog no less!!
In an attempt to make the blog slightly less tarnished after that post, I should also mention we bathed Train the other day. Oh the hilarity!
We came out unscathed, but she refused to look at us for the rest of the day. And also covered our bathroom floor in water while trying to escape.

we discovered Train is a robot.

Look at her EYES.
Thanks, Nokia!
It’s meant for Open Mic Musicians, but I can see a lot of parallels to Open Mic Comedy. Simultaneously brilliant and scary all at the same time.
So, with Train packed up and kicked out of home for the weekend, we ruined our NaPoBloMo attempt and drove down to Blayney for some wedding action.
We arrived into Bathurst around midday, managed to check into our motel (which I won’t start talking about or else all you’ll hear is complaints) and eat some lunch before being able to go straight to the property where the wedding was being held.
After saying hello to Emma (the bride), who I haven’t seen in a good year and a half, we got the mini tour and the instructions of ‘We don’t really mind as long as you get Ben and I in the same photo and smiling’. Well then.
Even though the actual wedding day turned out to be overcast, rainy, windy and hellishly cold, the ceremony went ahead out in the gardens, and the reception kicked on in the recently cleaned wool shed (and yes, it is a functioning wool shed). Emma and Ben were very patient with our photoing, even though they probably would have preferred to pack up and get some photos of the bridal party in a warm room, they were happy for us to take them around the property for some nicer backgrounds, even if all the bridesmaids were struggling to smile with their chattering teeth.
Here is a couple of photos from the million taken. We have grand plans for the rest, which’ll be unveilled soon enough. Damn 9-5 work getting in the way.

Did I mention that Emma is a bit of a cowgirl? And that all the boys wore matching RM Williams gear?
Yeah, it was a great wedding.
Like, heaps and heaps.
