Soon to be Train’s eating area (will be turned into the bottom shelf our little side table thing). $2 from Marrickville’s Reverse Garbage treasure trove.
I don’t like Puma as a brand, but it has a cat on it. See?
I did take the camera along to take photos of all the wonderful unwanted things, but I got so distracted that I forgot.
But on the upside, we also got a hessian bag for the wormies. Yay!
We also visited The Bower and almost picked up a lovely orange and black side table with ‘It’s Time’ stencilled on it. Lovely, but Jarod talked me out of spending a small fortune on it.
Today was the nicest, warmest day in forever. Well, yesterday was quite nice and warm too, but I spent all day inside at work (except for a few moments arguing with Australia Post), so it doesn’t count.
We should be officially handing over Sid (my car) to the new owner sometime in the coming week, which is awesome and sad. Awesome because it means I don’t feel bad for not driving him, and sad because sid is cool.
And today, the we got a WORM FACTORY. Or worm farm as they’re more commonly known. Jarod promised that I’d get one for my birthday, but we wanted to get the worms started now.
Yay, worms!

We got all our gear (and two thousand worms!) from the lovely people at The Watershed. They were quite helpful in telling us how to look after them and supplying us the goods.
Hopefully we wont mass murder two thousand worms, and we’ll have a happy eco system outside our front door. Train also likes this spot because it’s improved her view over the neighbourhood.
