Proper Wedding Photos!!!

Wow. Just wow. That’s what Liz and I were saying to each other when we loaded the DVD of photos Photobat sent to us. I mean, we’d seen some of the photos on his DSLR screen, but that really didn’t do the photos justice. Anyway, I’m waffling. Scroll down to see a selection of Liz(click to read the full post)

Noice-ities.

At the end of July, Moderncat posted about an awesome kitty poster by The Small Stakes in the US. Clearly the most perfect poster for us, right? Jarod didn’t think it was a necessary purchase (and he was probably right), but I went ahead and bought one anyway. I’m so very glad I did as(click to read the full post)

Sometimes She Bakes: Honey Jumbles.

Let me preface this by saying: I don’t know why these are called honey jumbles. They don’t involve honey at all. But they are certainly delicious. Recipe from Frills in the Hills. Ingredients: The Honey Bit 60g butter 2/3 cup golden syrup 1 3/4 cups plain flour 1 tsp bicarb soda 1 tsp ground ginger(click to read the full post)

Sometimes She Bakes: Peanut Butter & Chocolate Brownies

Last week I received David Lebovitz’ book Ready for Dessert from the Book Depository. The first thing I did when I got it home was pick a recipe and try it out. Of course it involved chocolate. Recipe adapted from David Lebovitz’ Ready for Dessert, ‘Roberts Absolute Best Brownies’. Ingredients 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut(click to read the full post)

The Dome of Doom.

At the end of last week managed to win a Dark Chocolate & Ginger Mousse Dome from Brasserie Bread. Yay for commenting on blogs! Of course, it didn’t take me too long to head down and claim my prize. If I’d had forethought I would have taken my camera for a photo with Mei, who(click to read the full post)

This week isn’t going to be too hard. Lets see… – We got to stay in a pretty awesome hotel in Hobart and relax for four nights. – That pretty awesome hotel also had a resident cat named Chaos. She spent her days either sitting in patches of sunshine or in front of one of(click to read the full post)

153/365 – I’m totally married.

Well, we’re totally married. Jarod started coming down with a cold/flu/virus this morning, but bravely held out throughout the day – even managing to smile for the photos. He is already asleep next to me in bed, hopefully helping his body to fight whatever it is he’s picked up. When we get back to the(click to read the full post)

Noice-ities

Let’s just focus on the noice bits of this week, shall we? How about we start with…. – Writing gigs! Jarod and I are now writers for That’s Noice! I know, we’re surprised too. We wont actually start writing until after this whole wedding thing, but rest assured we’ll spam everyone about it when it(click to read the full post)

108/365 – The finest ginger specimen I’ve ever seen.

This kitty was the BEST ginger cat ever. So big, so affectionate, so demanding. Mind you, a side on photo doesn’t show how much cat there was… Check out that belleh! And yes, he will appear on friendly miaows at some point :)
