Salsa Casseroll with Bullhorns
As of yesterday, the Salsa is now sporting trendy bullhorns. They were bought second hand with the bar tape, brake levers, brake cables and stem attached; hooray for lazy upgrades! A quick bolt up of the stem and threading of cables and the transformation was complete.

Salsa Casseroll Single with Gears

It’s all still in the works, but parts I ordered for the Salsa’s new 1×9 drive train have started to arrive. The (dura ace!!) down tube shifters have most certainly arrived… and have been bolted on… and look like pure bike porn.

Redfern. Waterfall. Redfern. Singlespeed.
I’ll admit it. I’m damn proud of what I achieved today. It was a ride where Tim and I were meeting at Redfern, then simply heading south. In my head, I was happy to turn around at Loftus, or possible Heathcote. In Tim’s head, we were never falling short of Waterfall.
